Update 08/01/97: The above scene, however, was reasonably copied. The weather was outstanding. We watched the sunset over the Hudson. We drank many toasts. Last call at midnight. We had a fire for the ritual burning of the dead meat. There were unidentifiable bodies on the ground. There was dancing, dogs, children and grandmothers. But most of all, there were HER favorite people, all in one spot. |

No gifts, please, but interesting postcards and large checks are always welcome. |

Update 08/01/97: There were, of course, gifts because people refuse to follow directions. There were many interesting postcards on many interesting topics and there were also large checks. In fact, the largest check measured 4 feet by 2 feet. |

Take the M79 bus to
the end of the line, or walk west on 79th to the traffic circle*. Take the stairs down to the rotunda. *Mind the traffic on the exit and entrance ramps to the West Side Highway. |

Update 08/01/97: Everyone arrived and departed safely. No one was permanently injured in the making of this party. |
